Documents

IAPS is governed primarily and legally by its Charter (read it here). The Charter sets out how the association is structured and operates at a basic level, including membership, events, the General Meeting and the Executive Committee.

The Charter follows the French law for associations, which can be found in the Local Civil Code for Alsace-Moselle where IAPS is registered. It is filed with the French court in Mulhouse in the form of an authoritative French translation. The IAPS Charter was adopted by the AGM 2019 in Cologne, Germany and was last amended in December 2020, replacing the 2007 version

IAPS is also governed by its Regulations (read them here). The Regulations are an internal set of rules which supplement the Charter. They are more specific and detailed, and easier to update, since they do not have to be registered with the French court.

In addition to the Charter and Regulations, the members of IAPS have adopted a few other documents to govern the association in more specific areas:

  • The IAPS 2021-2024 Strategic Plan was approved in the AGM 2021 and lays out the plan for the next 3 years of IAPS. Read it here.
  • IAPS’ Code of Conduct regulates the conduct of its members to ensure their safety and good relations. It outlines conduct that is forbidden to members and what should be done in case it is broken. It mainly concerns behaviour at our events, but also covers subjects such as academic integrity. Last updated by the AGM 2020 held online, it can be found here.
  • IAPS’ Terms and Conditions outline how its events are conducted in a legal and proper manner. All IAPS events must use it and all participants must agree to it. It was last updated at the AGM 2020, held online. Read it here.
  • IAPS’ Reimbursement Guide details the rules that IAPS uses to make reimbursements, both in the case of event cancellation and for expenses incurred on the association’s behalf. Last updated by the AGM 2019 in Cologne, Germany, it is available here.
  • IAPS’ Privacy Policy informs you how the association uses your data – with your consent and in accordance with the law. You can find it here on our website.

All IAPS members may access documents related to an IAPS General Meeting. The documents are located here (“Log in with Google” and use your IAPS account). If you do not have a login, ask your IAPS Delegate or contact ec@iaps.info.

If you have some old documents or photos of previous events that might be of interest to other IAPS members, particularly if they go back several years, please don’t hesitate to contact archive@iaps.info.
