The International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS) 2022 took place in Puebla, Mexico, hosted by the Sociedad Científica Juvenil (SCJ), IAPS National Committee (NC) Mexico.
After ICPS 2020 (hosted by SCJ) had to be suspended due to COVID-19, the decision was made during the 2020 AGM that ICPS 2022 will be held by SCJ in place of ICPS 2020. You can read more about the situation here.
IAPS offers financial support to selected participants of ICPS through two means:
- the jIAPS Article Contest is an opportunity to have an article published in the journal of IAPS and be reimbursed in the cost of the ICPS conference fee
- the ICPS Worldwide Grant offers support for participation and travel costs up to 1000€, with preference being given to students with a good academic record, involvement in a Physics-related association, good lecturing skills and financial hardship
