The International Association of Physics Students is pleased to introduce the new Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term!
We would first like to express our sincere appreciation to the outgoing Executive Committee for their dedication, time, and work towards strengthening our association and its community. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
As we begin this new term, the new President and Executive Committee are highly motivated to build on this work and take IAPS forward with a clear focus on three main priorities:
1. Building a sustainable foundation for the future
We aim to establish a stronger and more sustainable structure for future Executive Committees, addressing the administrative and financial challenges inherited from previous terms and ensuring that IAPS can continue to grow on solid foundations.
2. Strengthening and expanding our membership community
We want to bring IAPS closer to its members and local communities. This includes increasing EC participation in local events and activities, while continuing to expand our reach through our major international events and initiatives.
3. Growing and rebuilding our external partnerships
We will work towards recovering and expanding IAPS’ network of external partners, with a focus on developing lasting and strategic collaborations that create meaningful opportunities and benefits for both the association and its members.
Most importantly, this is not a plan for the Executive Committee alone. The team is highly motivated to work together with the IAPS community, and all members are more than welcome — and strongly encouraged — to get involved.
Our Working Groups (WGs) are one of the best ways to contribute, develop new ideas, and work directly alongside the Executive Committee. Whether you have been involved with IAPS for years or are joining for the first time, there is a place for you to contribute.
We are excited about what this new term can bring and look forward to working closely with our members, partners, and the wider physics student community to make IAPS stronger, more connected, and more sustainable.
